School Session Times:
Nursery 8.50 am - (doors open) School starts 9 am (doors close)
- Morning nursery session 9 am - 12 pm
- Afternoon wrap around nursery 1pm - 3 pm
Reception 8.45 am (doors open) School starts 8.55 am (doors close)
- Morning session 8.55 am - 11.45 am
- Lunch 11.45 am - 12.45 pm
- Afternoon session 12.45 - 3.15 pm
Key stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2) 8.45 am (doors open) School starts 8.55 am (doors close)
- Morning session 8.55 am - 12 pm
- Lunch 12 pm - 1pm
- Afternoon session 1:00 pm – 3:15 pm
Whole school Assemblies
Monday afternoon - We have a range of relevant themes and topics throughout the year eg Harvest, Remembrance , Christingle, Easter, EID, Divali, and visitors who come in to talk to the children about these.
Friday assemblies
Celebration assemblies are to celebrate the learning and demonstration of our school values of the children and parents are invited when their child is chosen to receive one. Outside achievements are celebrated too.
Arrival of Children
The school day begins at 8.55 am. The door is opened at 8:45 am and the staff are in their classrooms so children may arrive anytime between this ten minute period.
We expect parents to accompany their children onto the premises and children should not be left unsupervised until the doors open and they have entered school safely. We believe that punctuality should be valued and we hope you will always encourage your child to be on time for school.
Collection of Children
The children’s day finishes at 3:15pm. If you are delayed for any reason please contact school so that we can reassure your child. No child will be dismissed from the classroom unless they are in the care of an adult. Parents should wait for their children outside the classroom door.
