Safeguarding
Safeguarding is about ensuring everyone is safe from harm – safe from bullying, safe from people who could abuse, safe from discrimination or harassment – and that we all feel safe in our environment. We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our child protection policy, which can be viewed in the policies section of our website. The health, safety and wellbeing of every child is our top priority.
We expect all staff, governors and volunteers to share this commitment to safeguarding our pupils.
We aim:
- to ensure that children within our school feel safe at all times
- to ensure that all stakeholders are safe and feel that they are able to put the welfare of the children first
- to ensure that all adults who have contact with children in school have been properly vetted and cleared as suitable to work and support children in our school.
- to ensure that all adults who have contact with children in school have been trained to undertake their safeguarding responsibilities effectively.
All school staff have received training in child protection. Children at Cranmore Infants are aware of the adults they can talk to if they have any concerns.
